Hi Dr Greg I Just discovered your videos All are great. Thank You!  For rural have to do it yourself testing what room temp argars could be attempted to use for culturing fungal, for viral, for anarobic and for arobic bacterias? What home made stains could be attempted for each as well?

@InSanDiego1 Better to shine a blacklight to see the greenish glow on the hairshafts, or a trial of miconazole cream daily for a week. You can also use miconazole shampoo 2x week for a month or two. The testing may not grow the pathogen and is easily contaminated. Tell you the truth.I don't use it much anymore. Both products are at the pharmacy.

@DrGregDVM thank you right now he has given me a sample of fungus cream to put on her ears until the test comes back. if it comes back that it is for sure ringworm then i will go back in and buy her the medicine. she gets her shots next week. she will be 12 weeks old.
