Okay? seeing how EA owns the Publishing rights and IP, i really see no reason for them to not put it on the PS3, Also Sony would NOT advertise the game, EA would. Also a PS3 version was not planned, it sprung up when EA bought Bioware. EA is after all a 3rd party publisher, the only system to put Mass Effect on after this would be PC and PS3.

Listen Im getting a PS3 soon so it doesnt matter. I just dont want you getting your hopes up. If a PS3 version was planned Sony would waste no time in advertising it.
Who knows what the future holds?? Neither of us so we have to agree to disagree or this argument will last forever lol

EA just bought the Publishing rights from MS for Mass Effect. You know the reason you said it won't appear on PS3? So they own the IP and publishing rights....so yea, there's no PS3 version? you have to be the biggest dumb ass in the world to believe there won't be after they now own the IP and publishing rights, and MS owns nothing of the Mass Effect series.

Okay? thats it? Most likely the deal was to have Bioware do the Mass Effect games and for EA to outsource it on PS3. Mind you its a FACT THAT EA owns the IP and Publishing rights to the game. Its way more likely you will see a PS3 version then not. MS now owns NOTHING OF THE MASS EFFECT SERIES! BOTH IP AND PUBLSIHNG RIGHTS ARE OWNED BY EA! A 3RD PARTY COMPANY! I think you know deep down what the real answer is! Thank you very much! LOL!

I heard they have a deal for Bioware to do the 360 versions of Mass Effect, there was a press release that stated that EA will take over the publshing rights for Mass Effect from MS, meaning EA will diside what system its on NOT MS. It will most likely be Outsourced by EA to the PS3, mind you EA spent over 600million for Bioware i highly doubt the deal was to have it NEVER appear on the PS3, espeacially since EA has said many times that the PS3's success is key to EA's plans, there a 3rd party.

Mass Effect will be ported to the PC 6 months after the 360 release as part of a deal between MS and EA to keep it off the PS3. Future installments will probably be PC/360 only as MS like it this way. Trust me PS3 wont get it.

Oh shit looks like EA will be publishing the rest of the Mass Effect series. Now it will be on PC, without the help of MS! ONLY EA, Publshed and Developed!! I hear there haveing another Team help Bioware with the PS3 version. Now they how the publshing rights to the series, that means they can publish Mass Effect 1 on any system they see fit. MS sold the pubslhing rights to EA. Oh well, looks like that whole exclusive 360 talk is DEAD!
