Tonight I remembered Tuffy's circa 1966, when I was a freshman at M.U. and lived in Collins Hall, so I walked by Tuffy's all the time and it was one of our primary spots. The toasted rolls and big cups of coffee and those great wooden booths! So wonderful to find this beautiful video and I'm hoping that Tuffy's is still there (Jan. 2011, now)...

Dr . Robert and Millie Mills, Dr. Gordon Coe, Dr and Mrs Walter Slater Coe, Tuffy and Teet Potter, G. Coe Potter and others shown in the video. Fine one.

There is currently a Tuffy's counter in the Student Center at Miami of Ohio. They do serve his famous toasted rolls. My Uncle Tuffy and much later his son Coe operated Tuffy's from 1929 to 1975.
I'm sure Tuffy would be thrilled and pleased to hear of your memories and he'd probably reply with something funny, consistent with his personality. He passed away in the 1980s.
