Garsdale Station on the Settle & Carlisle line

This is one of 2 video clips I shot of Garsdale station.There was also a very long wait until the next train was due, & as we had to be moving on only had time to film the station.Check out the steel sleepers on the Northbound track!! & also the platform signal box.This station is packed with lots Midland Period features, all that's missing is a midland steam loco!!

i remember standing here on a cold november morning to go to carlise. i was visitng family in hawes and fancied a day out. boy was it bleak and cold. nice journey though!

on trainz 2006 theres a station called garsdale. very nice station there too. it reminds me of thomas the tank engine, lol. :)
