This surreal instrumental by The Shangs was slated for inclusion on their 3rd CD, "Motel Darlene", until that project was shelved. Never-the-less,it did become the "B" side of a lone 45RPM released in 1995.Possibly the most far reaching of the band's musical fabric, it is also a loving nod to the great Italian film composers of the past mid-century. A noted critic said of The Shang's output of the time: "... brooding, sparse and soothing, and like a fine David Lynch story, it harbours some form of perversity and dementia. Ray Lynch or Manheim Streamroller couldn't soothe the beast inside of a Jeffrey Dahmer but I believe The Shangs could. Their music floats you out on a cloud then leaves you hanging for dear life on the edge of a cliff." FC.Surly Mag;1994.
