Eve Goldberg was personally affected by the arrest of Buddhist monks in Burma in November of 2007. She wrote this song as a response and it has been chosen by Amnesty International to help highlight the situation that U Gambira among others faces in a Mynamar prison, such as torture and life imprisonment for peaceful protest. • I actually remember you performing that song at the Canadian Amnesty General Meeting back in 2008-ish. I really admire you for writing that song. I think that more musicians should be like you and use their talent to spread awareness about world issues.
