Andrea Lake came from San Diego, California. She attended Grossmont High School in El Cajon. Despite not being a college graduate, she was able to establish her own business Rhytm Styx, which is a toy company. At present, she manages a sticker company, a t-shirt company, a clothing company, an online community, and a wedding planning service.

Moreover, she became part of the reality television show The Apprentice season 5 as one of the contestants. She was on team Synergy and won the challenges twice while she was project manager.
