I was there, it was a very emotional day for so many of the riders. Registration for next years ride opens soon and the Ride to the Wall is next week.

Its time the British army withdrew from what is a pointless and unwinnable conflict, those blokes are dying and being mained for the sake of politicians vanity. Obama and Cameron know the games up but have to keep pretending theres a solution in order to save face. An absolute disgrace.

I wasn't there myself, but my brother was one of the registered riders. He took the video and emailed it to me. Watching the BBC news about the event has brought tears to my eyes too. No tribute or vote of thanks is enough for our brave Heroes, but this amazing bike ride has gone a long way to expressing the thoughts and gratitude of millions. I'm not a biker but I have a new-found respect for all you bikers out there for supporting this event in such massive numbers.
