The Liberal and National Parties have decided to merge in Queensland. The two parties voted overwhelmingly at the weekend to merge, creating the Liberal National Party or LNP.
Not everyone was keen for the marriage to go ahead, particularly the Liberal President and former Federal Cabinet Minister Mal Brough who's now out in the cold.
Mal Brough refuses to join the LNP after being asked by journalists.
