  • @Midnightryder7 People gossip everywhere. You get a bunch of children waiting at the bus stop with their parents and even after the bus has arrived & long gone....... the parents remain at the corner stop, talking about the news of the day. I'm just using that as an example. But it happens everywhere. The water cooler @ work. The local bar. The barber shop / beauty salon.

  • New york city has gotten nicer when you walk down the busy streets..ever since the towers fell..people in Manhatton has changed..before you might get shot for smiling..Here in Pa..folks are closed minded they do nothing but gossip about other people...I'm thinking about moving to Vegas

  • I find a differance of city and country folks.

Even in the way they drive and stuff.

We country folks are laid back, and take it easy. And there's that infamous country hospitality.

The city husstle and bustle, rush to get nowhere fast, and the hostility sux. We moved out of the Cleveland area about 14 years ago, I had to get used to the slow quiet life. Gotta chill to the max! And there's that fresh country air when the manure is spread in springtime!

  • What a great vlogger you are. I so enjoyed this vlog. Where Im from if you smile at a stranger, some think your trying to be a jerk, really. Although when Im at work (law Enforcement) and someone smiles at me it warms my heart, sometimes. Although sometimes when they smile at me I know theres going to be a problem. Now Im confused, I need some coffee, LOL. I like Canadians and I like your vlogs.

  • I cant say anything about Canade and Usa, but i can tell about the fun stuff between Sweden and Norway.. We make jokes about each other, and the fun stuff is, its the same jokes. Just the diffrent people like "There was a man from Norway" and vice verse...

Hope you get well soon... /Big Mike from Sweden

  • i agree with you, i have been in USA for a couples of years, the people are not smily and they are very very racist, and usa has a very high crime rate, usa is not a nice place for living, as we think bec of the movies, Canada is better

  • Nathalie please don't judge all people by a few?? You need to come to the Southern US and really meet Nice people!! We are nothing like the Northerners. btw..You sure have a great voice!

  • In the company I worked for, they merged the US and Canadian management for the stuff I do for several years. Although the Canadians were polite and nice, no one would take a stand for a position so nothing got decided. If nothing is decided, nothing gets done. Made me nuts. I did like the trip to Toronto.

Just keep trying to break that barrier. If they blow you off, thier loss! Hope you feel better.

  • Did the people you talked to have the Ebola virus? That could make them a little evasive.
