yes im aware of the "crisis". but capitalism couldnt have led to anything better or wiser imo- so it produced "debtism".

1) i'm against all GMO too. 2) animal farming whether organic or not, can't sustain human population anymore which will become even more evident in future- nor is there a necessity for it. kindest thing would b to stop breeding animals just for the sake of using them - & stop viewing them as food machines. 3) i recommend watching "Home" it's a fascinating documentary u can find on Youtube if u havent already, it's on my page too.

we don't have 'capitalism' we have 'debtism'!
Capitalism is based on Fractional Reserve Banking where, if you are a Bank & you have £1 million ON DEPOSIT, that 'allows' you to 'create' £8 million in 'new loans' (based on a 8-1 ratio).
The problems we have right now are because they took capitalism & turned it on its head & said if you're a Bank & you have 1 million in 'mortgages' (i.e. DEBTS) the Banks could now treat that as 'CAPITAL' & not as DEBT.
So we now have 'debtism' not capitalism

friend.. I'm not convinced 'GM FOOD' is 'safe' period.
And the first question that popped into my head with the milk thing was "so does that mean all their non-'organic' milk is from cows that ARE FED GM?
I don't think intensive animal farming is 'sustainable' either. However having been born on a farm & living in a farming community I am also aware that the best 'organic farming' models actually include animals as part of a mixed farming model. One that has served us well for countless millenia

well i cant c how a capitalist society would produce teachers who will teach our kids to spend less & care more, ie teach them that capitalism is wrong. b4 that happens, we have to be both teachers & students. u can look 4 independent information, connect w/ likeminded ppl, boycott, protest, organize, turn ur ideal into action- as far as possible- in other words, create a society of connections, within the existing society (which is already happening)- & take it from there.

re; organic milk- i agree. thats one of the reasons why im vegan. im not convinced that animal agriculture is sustainable in this day & age. we also have bottled water labeled enviro. friendly! But comparing to ca 10 years ago, & much thanks 2 the internet & free information it's alot easier 4 me 2 find products that have not been tested on animals, w/o harsh chemicals, animal ingr. or unnecessary packaging. Always read available information on the internet & contact companies b4 buying anything

i never said it's either-or. but lets change ourselves while waiting for these taxations & regulations to happen. & yes ppl need more information, but they have to demand it first. although i dont know how many ppl actually read the existing labels. for instance, there are warnings written all over cig packs- & research linking smoking 2 cancer, but I c smokers everywhere I go. what else can b done 4 these ppl, w/o jeopardizing their freedom of choice?

I think the "the trend of many companies going "green" & cruelty-free" is mostly BS!
Its like advertising.. you rarely need to advertise something that everyone wants.
IMO same with the big companies and their 'greenwash'.. they only need to do it because they ARENT 'green' & they want some of that 'market'.
example.. a supermarket here sells 'organic' milk, but when you go on-line & check their definition of 'organic' it is NOT FED ON Genetically Modified grain!? They simply re-defined organic!

Again you speak in extremes & its all or nothing.. there is 'balance' too.
As you say, the alternative is 'good education' not indoctrination.. but how do we deliver a 'good eductaion' to 2 BILLION kids??
It requires good teachers, good infrastuctures & MONEY!
Good science without 'conflicts of interests' & corporate fixes. Information not propaganda!
But this requires a 'balance' to both the 'corporate dictators' as well as the 'government dictators'. Both are evils we are better off WITHOUT!
it's not about "scolding" but educating. + it's not a choice as much as it is a habit & tradition. children need to b taught to question old ways, find new solution & not waste their adulthood being stuck in old ways. things are not as simple as "their choice- their body"- there's a harm principle- if your choice harms MY body, or in this case the planet, everybodys habitat- then that choice cannot be tolerated or ignored.

FIRST u question problematic subjects- THEN if u come up with a solution which solves these problems- u make the changes accordingly. im not instilling anything on u, but encouraging u to use ur head & choose reason &logic over habit. but what u choose to do is entirely up to u. we're all free 2 criticize- if no one questioned slavery, racism, sexism etc our world would look quite different today & so would our ethics. but u won't complain about that.
