  • It looks like infantile spasms.

  • That's really sad. Hope he doesnt get them anymore. His eyes kinda scare me tho bcuz I can tell he's tired but they are so...... Dark. Idk. I'm going crazy!

  • Maybe he's tired... I've passed out blankly multiple times at night. He looks like he trying to stay awake too... And seizures are that quick to come back? Just thoughts...

  • @nifer3470 That terrified response definitely sounds like a seizure. Certain seizures can tap the fear centers of the brain (I get that, it's awful) and give HORRIBLE nightmares. I hope he stays seizure free!

  • OMG my son does this all the time I just thought it was a night mear!!!!!! it only has ever happened at night if you see my somment please e mail me I eoulf like to know when this started and how he was dx...

  • *Better

  • Bless his heart... Hope he gets ether soon! He's a beauty! :)

  • So, long story short..... when your family and even the doctors wont listen you do just about anything to help your child even if to others it looks bad!!!!!!!!

  • When he had theses spasms it was like you gave him several bottlles of jolt cola or a bunch of two liters. He would wake and be terrfied to go back to sleep. He'd want to come downstairs or just leave his room in general. It was like he had 20 hours of sleep when in fact it was as little as an hour! His body would spasm and before we went and got an eeg it got to the point where I felt from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet spasming.

  • Shortly after that they slowed down and now its been a while since he last woke from one. Knock on wood. I still think they were and are seizures. But, these are somethings we do on a normal daily basis in hopes in preventing my sons sleep spasms. Try no rigirous activity after five. Too much stimulation seems to activate it but so does not enough stimulation. We wash his hair once a week. And I give him his vitamins at night. Some thoughts were his lactic acid?
