Mallika's Item Song: Shalu Ke Thumke HD

The time has come when Sheila's Jawani and Munni's badnami is going to be out of the window as Shalu is entering through the door!! Mallika, the bold and beautiful item girl of Bollywood has come up in a new avatar of Shalu. She has just shot her latest item number earlier this week that vehemently ridicules Munni (Malaika Arora Khan) and Sheila (Katrina Kaif). The item number picturises Mallika singing, "Munni bhi maani aur Sheila bhi maani, Shalu ke thumke ki duniya deewani."

Industry insiders have the information that the choreographer (Farah Khan) who made Munni and Sheila dance and become an instant chartbuster was approached to make Shalu give hot thumkas! But the proposal was politely turned down by her. She diplomatically said that she only choreographs for her close friends and relations.

Sources say that the original lyrics of the song were quite different. It was Mallika's idea to fuse in the names of Munni and Sheila in the song and make Shalu overpower them in order to position herself as the queen of the item numbers! And Anand Raj Anand, the composer of the song worked accordingly.

Mallika is on the battle ground with Munni and Sheila not just with her latest Shalu ke thumke. Earlier, this year she also shot for a hot and steamy item number Jalebi Bai for Inder Kumar's movie Double Dhamaal. She can also be seen in another item number Razia gundo mein phas gayee in Thank you. This year is going to be item number time for Mallika who has come back to Bollywood after 3 years, a span of time that she spent over her tryst with Hollywood.

But apart from a handful of item songs, she hasn't got any big role in Bollywood yet, may be she'll have to wait a bit; however, she seems to have become popular in Hollywood as she is being spotted out at the functions and the ceremonies of Hollywood than the ones of Bollywood. She was present in the pre-Oscar party and was walking the red carpet at the 83rd Academy Awards; again she was seen at the Governor's Ball as well as at Sir Elton John's after party. She has also been invited at the prestigious Romy Awards which is scheduled to be held on April, 16. Her Hollywood flick, a romantic comedy, Love, Barack -- The politics of Love is also in the post production; perhaps she is in search of more roles in Hollywood movies.

Sources say that the diva was called Stunning by Nicole Kidman and was found divine by Elton John. Perhaps she's gonna set the trend of Bollywood item songs in Hollywood too, after all Shalu can do anything with her hot and sizzling thumkas!
