Julie Kinscheck- American Memory

I wrote this song in honor of those lost on 911, but remembering how many times we as Americans have come together in unity during times of tragedy. My mother remembers American "moments" when she heard of the death of JFK; I'm sure Pearl Harbor was such a moment as well. FOr this generation 911 was certainly the biggest- but I remember the shared grief at the loss of the space shuttle Challenger with Christa the teacher on board. Yet as Americans we come together at these tough times. How wonderful if we could live that way all the time!
