@Ashogo I agree. It's because of the TV news reports and the TV commercials/promos that I didn't watch Twin Peaks until it was near the very end. The commercials made it sound like a cliche' cop show set in hick town. I was so upset when I realized that I had missed out on a fantastic TV Show. I think who ever did their Promo's and other Commercials should be sued.

I missed out watching this fantastic series because the TV commercials for it make it look like a rather cliche' boring backwoods cop show. Who ever did their Promos should have been fired. I didn't watch it because the commercials didn't do this show justice. In fact I think this show would have had an even larger view ship if the commercials were done right.

Even with Bob out of character -the actor- smiling and speaking in his calm voice...scary :) I think he is the most terrifying character I have ever seen on tv.

The news reporter gives away a massive spoiler. just for all you newbies to Twin Peaks. CNN is wack, the news seems just as poorly broadcast then as it is now.

Try watch Twin Peaks on Netflix and it freezes for a moment. And, the person on the screen is Bob looking all psycho. Like he was going to jump out of the computer screen.
