Funeral Home That Cut Corpse Remains Open

A judge says a South Carolina funeral home where a corpse's legs were cut so it would fit in a casket can remain open as it appeals the revocation of its license. (June 10)

This is just plain horrible. I am a funeral director and what that man did is morally irresponsible. Nowhere in any books, or anywhere we were taught, is severing the legs an answer. His license should be revoked. The owners license should be revoked. Both of them should be put in jail. I cant even believe he would think of this. One simple call could have been placed and the right size casket would have been delivered.

The funeral home deceived the widow in thinking the casket was larger enough to handle him she even asked to make sure....it does matter... let one of your love ones get mistreated or disrespected in death ....you would never appreciate that
