I thought this lesson was really useful for getting all that technical mumbo jumbo out of your head! It's from Dr. Karl Morris on http://www.saveamillionshots.com - a sports pyschologist who has worked with Ryder cup players such as Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley

  • Mr Bean !

  • Yes I understand your tip. Which reminds me of my tip, pecker tip that is, as my point of focus. Doing so really eliminates other distractions. Is it stiff? If so hit the ball hard. Is it soft? If so, use flop shot. Is it damp? Take a drop. Is it cold? Zip up.

Golf truly can be simplified using this time tested method.

  • great tip, i tend to get all over the place when i'm playing good or bad. thanks

  • Any more golf tips from Karl morris on the mental game of golf?

  • My head always gets in the way....this is a handy little tip.
