I learnt how to play this on bass not too long ago.

anyone notice that the most commonly used bass chord in any of tools songs is
G|---7---
D|---0---
A|---5---
D|---0---
Think it's Justins favorite
sweet cover by the way

@haggis325 It's not a chord at all. It is an octave. It's all the same note and just gives you more layers.

@TOOLbassplayer Actually the word chord means any 3 or more notes struck at the same time. So It is a chord but just all the same note johnny

@tlnabbs019 technically that is not true. All guitar hords contain a root note, a 5th etc. A standard guitar chord will never all be the same note, that is an octave. A guitar power chord generally contains, the root, the 5th, and the octave

THANK YOU all for all of the wonderful comments. I have put a lot of effort into these songs over the years and this one is definitely in the top 3 in terms of difficulty. Any of you who have watched my videos over the years can attest my first attempt at Rosetta Stoned was nothing like this. I appreciate all of the support and glad I could help anyone else who loves this song :)
