The 4.10's make the car a lot of fun to drive, but 3.73's are more practical. Looks at your plans for the future... if you're planning on staying all motor and don't mind a few extra highway RPM, go 4.10's. If you plan on forced induction or nitrous, I'd go 3.73's. 3.90's are what I'd go back and do to be honest.

@LowProGT thanks for the reply! .... im trying to figure out what to do ... think im going for 4 .10s or 3.90s .... everyone has different opinions i guess its whatever your driving style is like

No problem. What year is your 'Stang? '96 through mid '01 GT's have the T-45 transmission, which has a slightly higher 5th gear (the RPM's are a little higher on highway driving in 5th gear). Mid '01 to '04's got the T-3650 transmission and the 5th gear was a little more highway friendly. It's about a 200rpm difference if I recall
If it helps, I have a T-45 in mine and 60mph = 21-2200rpm, 70mph = 25-2600, 80mph = 3000.
3.90's would have helped, but a 1st gear nitrous launch w/4.10's is FUN!
