Internews, in partnership with the Kenyan mobile banking system MobiKash and five local radio stations, has launched a four-month pilot project to create sustainable revenue for local radio stations while putting community voices on the air. The slide show depicts Koch FM, the community radio station in Nairobi that is participating in the pilot, the community that the station reaches, and the MobiKash team. The pilot is also being implemented outside Nairobi in Eldoret, Lodwar, Kitale, and Kisii.
