Thing is, I wouldn't buy an iPod touch as a gaming device. Why? Because to sit and play a marathon first person shooter buttons and a up/down/left/right joystick beats a touch screen.

OMG IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW MANY GAMES U HAVE IT'S ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE GAMES. WHO CARES ABOUT MULTI TOUCH ON A DS OR PSP. AND THERE IS A ONLINE STORE IN BOTH THE PSP AND DS!!!!!!!! APPLE IS SOO RETARDED WHEN IT COMES TO GAMING!!!!!!

@Phenom7896 actually some of the more recent ipod/iphone games are more addictive in my opinion
I could see myself playing a game on the ipod touch in the next few years more likely than picking up a PSP for one, for all the loading time on a PSP its a bit of a hassle that doesn't deliver quite as well as an Ipod does
Might sound foolish, but its just a personal feeling

You guys have to remember the appstore is only a year old. What good games were in the first year of the PSP and DS? Now look at the latest games on the iPhone it's really crazy how good the graphics are and the games are getting bigger and really improving. Take Modern Combat: Sandstorm for example. I downloaded that game and it trumps any FPS on DS or PSP imo . Graphics are sick, fluid and controls are amazing. And it's only gonna get better especially with online play anywhere...

PSP still has better graphics. Final Fantasy Dissidia, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Tekken 5-6, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, Bleach HTS 5-6 for the WIN~ Sorry Apple its quality not quantity~
