The best penang laksa I had was a laksa stand not too far from the Chinese temple. It's across the street from the market. I don't know what's the market's called. I'm from the U.S. and I've been there twice and each time I ordered 2 bowls.

Are you sure this is Penang laksa? I am from penang and i don't think this is called Penang laksa instead it was called laksa lemak here..... for penang laksa you guys should try it at Ayer Itam, Penang. That is true Penang Laksa.....
