The first real test ride on the new Brompton. Mounted a 25cc 4 stroke motor and found that this thing really moves.

  • Paul, that was fantastic,

  • ive got a japanese version of a bromptoon, (japanese, not chinease, so its not dodgy build quality) and ive got an old 47c motor from a pocket bike/moped, i was wonderin how i would fit it on, im still doin more research, it hasnt got one of thos roller thingos, its desinged 2 be hooked up to a chain and sprocket, i nead some ideas

  • YEEE-HAAWW! Helmets are cool. Really. They are.

  • Looks like a blast. But I think I'd enjoy those paths more using just leg power because that engine sounds pretty loud! And on the flat, I tend to cruise at about 20mph on my Brompton. However, up the hills ...

  • Very cool, although you'd get less rolling resistance if it was fitted to a bike with bigger wheels.
