People have contacted me thanking me uploading the videos. It has also been an additional aid for people trying to find places on the island. It also helped my Dad with his memory loss after being in hospital for 7 months.

Parts of jersey remain beautiful I would agree, but st hellier? come on that is now a mere corporate concrete jungle without personality or charm. I used to spend many happy holidays on jersey when my kids were growing up and it wasn't that long ago, sadly the island is now seriously lacking for travellers from the mainland. Actually isle of wight is much more buzzing and certainly no more expensive than jersey is now.

@ty3165, I lived there for a while in early 1980's. The island is picturesque allright, but the small island mentality of the place drove me mad at the time. I swear to God, I saw the main headline in the Jersey Evening Post once about a woman in St Ouens who had lost her prize budgie! I dunno, maybe people like that kind of thing.
