@taipan342 thanks mate.it has been 5yrs almost since i have kept one to eat .i prefer yella's.. as for size before they are too fatty? i dont think it matters about fat but the older they are the less tasty i think, and a shame to kill the ol' fellas.they still breed more fish then a smaller one so i throw them all back just incase.I LOVE LETTING THEM GO..cheers REG

@MrSimoncocks good on ya mate if only all fishermen thought like you. Im only guilty of downing the odd redfin, hoping to do abit of cod fishing when this weather eases just to catch a good sized cod would do it for me.
