Failure path to success
For Sparky, the college was something almost impossible. He failed in all subjects in seventh grade. Flunked physics in high school, with a score of zero. Sparky also flunked Latin, algebra and English. It was much better in sports. Although it was able to join the golf team at school, quickly lost the only important game of the season. There was a consolation match and that he also lost.
Throughout his youth, Sparky had problems with sociability. The other students were not really dislike him, because no one gave him important enough for that. He was surprised to see a colleague gave him good day out of class hours. No one knows for sure how was your love life.
Sparky never once asked a girl out in the scientific. He was too afraid of being rejected.
Sparky was a loser. He, his classmates ... everyone knew. Then he lived with it. Sparky had decided early in life that if it were to work things out, they would. Otherwise, he would be satisfied with what appeared to be his inevitable mediocrity.
However, one thing was important to Sparky - drawing. He was proud of his designs. Of course, nobody liked them. Last year the scientific, he submitted some cartoons to the organizers of the yearbook. The cartoons were rejected. Despite this particular rejection, Sparky was so convinced of his talent that he decided to become a professional artist.
After completing the scientific, he wrote a letter to the Walt Disney Studios. They asked him to send some samples of his work and suggested the theme for a series of comics. Sparky drew the proposed cartoon. He spent much time working on them and all other drawings sent for evaluation. He eventually received a response from Disney. Had been rejected once again. Another defeat for the loser.
Sparky then decided to write his own autobiography in comics. He described himself as a child - a boy loser and I could never stand out. The cartoon character would soon become famous worldwide. For Sparky, the boy who had so little success in college and whose work was rejected again and again, was Charles Schulz. He created the Peanuts strip with the dog Snoopy and the little character Charlie Brown, whose kite would never fly and never managed to kick a soccer ball.
