On the 20th of March 2009, South London based 22 year old Christian Rapper, Ejiro, penned a heart rending tribute to the now late, Big Brother star, Jade Goody.
With the sole intention of reaching out to both her and her loved ones in their time of need, the song was then uploaded to YouTube where it received over 30,000 views and hundreds of comments from people all over the nation who had been touched by Ejiro's lyrical response to Jade's very public battle with cervical cancer. Sadly, on March 22nd Jade Goody passed away.
In wake of the first anniversary of her death, alongside the fact that he too has also lost a loved one due to cancer earlier this year, Ejiro teamed up with guitarist Kelechi Ify and has independently written and recorded an acoustic remix to "Dear Jade" which he intends to use as a means to encourage people to donate to "Cancer Research UK".
