The Holtzbergs were there for any and all the Jews that happened to be there, to provide hospitality and help them keep Torah and mitzvos in a country about as far removed from Judaism as is possible.

This Rabbi Holtzberg family's fate has shocked me.
They had those noble people who wanted to give life to Israel's God's will to teach.
When Rabbi's wife was asked how long they intend to be in the Mumbai Shi had replied that, until the Messiah comes.
