Jake has taught salsa for 15 yrs. He currently teaches at Club Cocomo in San Francisco Thur/Sat nights, and plays percussion in salsa bands. He does not run a dance team/troupe. the bay area salsa teams are nice to watch but completely useless for people who just want to have fun dancing. If you want to dance in clubs you need to learn how to move in small spaces, none of that stage dancing that takes up 50sqf. on the dance floor. It's the worst when those snobby performance dancer mingle on the dance floor and take up all space. Very rude!
