On March 15, President Obama visited Northern Ohio, home of cancer survivor Natoma Canfield, who recently had to give up her insurance after a 40% rate hike. She was invited to tell her story before a crowd with the President but a recent diagnosis of leukemia prevented her from making it. Natoma, along with the countless other Americans in need of quality health care, are the reason health reform is needed so urgently.

  • A President with compassion for the disadvantaged, the sick, the hurting and Maericans everyday going bankrupt because of medical costs.

THIS IS THE WHY I VOTED FOR HIM, campaigned for him, did and gave whatever I could even when chronic illness has been taken control of my life, along with the bills that come with it.

    God Speed Mr. President!!!

  • Wow, hearing stories like this makes me want this bill more and more!!!! I bet many more Americans are feeling the same way!!!! Please Obama, lets get this bill passed. You are finally convincing America that we need this bill!!!!

  • Your posts are quiet entertaining. The bizarre ramblings of a loser, always looking for a handout. Interesting that you called another poster on this page a racist. The defination of a racist, is a person who believes that their race/religion is superior to all others.

As a member of the fanatical/maniacal religion of Islam, you have stated that all non Muslims should be destroyed, which would include black non-believers. Now who is a racist you POS. I know you enjoy the attention loser.

  • If the "public option" was IN HCR, the insurance industry could NOT be jacking up rates on people like this and that was one of the main reasons for it's being such a valuable part of the original bill but of course WHO screamed the loudest about THAT being socialsm and a "government takeover" to the point the Democrats caved AGAIN and took it out? The effing GOP of course so the bill got so weak by endless GOP amendments we have what we have now & they're STILL trying to repeal it with HR1!!

  • @NotaDino1 lol bet u regret it now should of voted ron paul.but americans only vote how the tv tells us to so i dont blame u and EVERYBODY els that was fooled

  • So, Obamacare has passed. As a DIRECT RESULT of this bill, A dear friend of mine has gone from a bad situation to one much worse. Her health insurance costs went UP 50% AND she, along with all of her co-workers are being forced to take 6 days of UNPAID time off because the company's costs went up too. She can't afford her medications, and even had to move out of her apartment because the rent was now too high. THANKS A LOT OBAMA & PELOSI! Don't do us anymore favors. we can't afford it!

  • And why people need to join AMERICANS FOR HEALTHCARE so we can, in great numbers, and with great voice, lie down on the capitol steps AND DEMAND THAT CONGRESS FINISH THE JOB. 123 People shouldn't die daily, 861 shouldn't die weekly, 24,830 shouldn't die monthly, and 448,895 AMERICANS should NOT die every year because of lack of affordable, accessible, world-class healthcare.

  • it's time to pass obamunism

bow down to the will of the obama

    the obama knows all

    the obama sees all

    hail the obama

    hail the obama

  • @DONGOE

If you really care about lowering tax, don't go after funds to take the burden of healthcare off employers. Go after the funds to build the useless YF-22 raptor, or to keep troops in Germany and Japan.

Also, 15,200 is what many Americans spend on health insurance in one year, and way less than almost all Americans spend in health insurance in two. We pay the most for health care, yet we have the lowest life expectancies in the rich world.

    America needs health reform.

  • Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions are subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax?

You can thank Nancy, Harry & Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one. (Or should it F U ? )

If you sell your $400,000 home, this will be a $15,200 tax.

  • Hello Asshole obama
