We had 5 weeks to produce this, research included. And our camera corrupted two interviews.

Thanks to everyone who helped us along the way - Andrew, Fabrizio, Quentin, Bill, Philip and all the couriers and massers we hassled along the way.

  • This is a great film, send it to the bicycle film festival.

It's a pity some people can't see beyond their steering wheels. Critical Mass to me is about creating an environment where the majority are provided for. Yes, old people (although many cycle) and small children need different solutions, cars are not it though.

  • It's great to have properly done pieces broadcast on YouTube. Interesting! Thanks for sharing. If only YouTube would join the 21st Century and allow for 16:9 content properly!!

  • Maybe you should respond by creating a "Critical Car Mass" group, who go around filling up London's roads with noise and pollution, demonstrating the effect of the car. Although you wouldn't have to run it every month, it already happens every day.

  • The only struggle you had with this retort was finding a way to bitch without mentioning a single argument about Critical Mass. Please leave you pointless jibber-jabber flames for MySpace.

  • Yeah, abusive because it's so painfully clear that have very little idea or experience of what you're talking about. Ambulances? It's like watching Moses part the sea. Bikes on CM can and do move out of the way for emergency vehicles quicker and with less fuss that gridlocked vehicles ever could. If you had been on London CM you would know this.

  • Et tu Brute. Could I be wrong? Have my logic circuits failed. It appears so. Perhaps I should get personal and abusive otherwise my opinions are not worth a fig. The strange thing is that I didn't realise that parents could transport their average 2.5 kids and the aged grandparents around on a bicycle. I didn't know it was acceptable to block the city streets and that it does not matter even if an ambulance can not get to get a patient to hospital. e.t.c, e.t.c. I will shut up then.

  • If you cycle in other European countries the respect and infrastructure given over to cyclists is far greater. In London we are seen somewhere between amusement, loathing and a menace. I for one am not particularly interested in any agenda other then making it safer for me to get to and from work in the mornings without feeling like I'm participating in an extreme sport. Anyone who cycles down the Old Kent Road at rush hour will see what I mean.

  • And I see that you didn't have much to say in response to the comments I and others have made. I just wonder where you got your soap box from considering you talk complete nonsense and had nothing positive to say about this reasonably balanced film.

  • "Bicycles are useful except when transporting children etc."

Bollox. I seem perfectly capable of transporting my son anywhere in the Capital by bike. Longer distances may see me renting a car, but 99% of the time a bike is just fine thankyou very much.

He's 8 months and love it.

  • I struggled to get all the words into 500 characters hence the brevity of the style. I see that you used only 490 characters; surely you could have managed to find one more insulting word to enhance your argument.
