Young bull seal and Sealdiver off Longstone at Farne Islands, Northumberland.
The seal's front flipper has a similar bone structure to a human hand and the
seal is able to grasp with it's flipper. Note the long claw on the left front flipper.
Throughout the encounter the seal is incredibly gentle.
At one point I squeezed the seal's flipper and he squeezed back! Magical!

    we have a same sort experience under water in the philipine with a porcupine puffer fish. We "adopted" him as Spikey.
