ROS a new digital mode under test. Using spread spectrum techniques and 1 or 16 baud signalling rates it is designed to cope with noise, low signals, Meteor Scatter and Moon Bounce. It should be noted that ROS is an MFSK mode ocupies just 2.6kHz.

  • I doubt this will catch on Like JT65 did, has and continues to. JT65 is structured, with a format, so NO confusion can be made if a contact is good or not ( If the users follow the sequence). This is also much wider.. I see no advantages either.. especially for random contacts. If any thing this mode shld be used off the moon only, where ops qrg's are within very small percentages.. and tunig would not be an issue. I dont forsee adding this to my list of digital modes. JT65 suits me quite well.

  • Congratulations for the Video
