Another live one from 1980. This is a rendition of "Whiskey in the Jar", live at Cork, Ireland on 4/13/1980. The unique thing about this version is that this was one of the rare times when Thin Lizzy had 3 guitarists in the band. Snowy White had just joined prior to the Irish tour and Midge Ure was still around through this leg of the tour. Scott Gorham (of course) was there as well, rounding out the three guitar lineup. Ure mostly played keyboards, but occasionally would pick up a guitar and play along, as he did on this song. Enjoy!

Best version out there! Nothing beats it! Luke's version is also good, but metalica's version is a load of balls! Probably one of the worst covers of all time (it's up there with celine dion's version of "shook me all night long" by acdc!)!!!

great tune only people like me and you realize that it has been around a long time, some bands like to show tribute to older bands they substitute their versions for. Too bad many people don't give credit where it's due. I give credit to any band that can recreate a song that people love. Keep it going, never forget the good stuff. And so on and so on...hahaha Just do it! ;)
