Best of the Yorktown Dance Team 2007

Four beautifully synchronized and choreographed halftime performances by the award-winning Yorktown High School Dance Team from Arlington, Virginia collected on one video. Clips taken from the Wilson, Falls Church, Wakefield and Washington and Lee football games at Greenbrier Stadium on the campus of Yorktown High School in Sept., Oct, and Nov. of 2007.

I have to admit, there were some VERY clever things in all of their dances(like their kick line), but I am going to be completely honest with all of you: I have seen--no, there IS better, WAY better. This isn't sharp either. Honestly, they are just going through their movements. Also, please none of you take this the wrong way, but this is cheerleading, not dance. I hope I didn't offend anyone; that was not my intention. Don't think of this as an offense, think of it more as--helpful criticism.

very good! i really enjoyed watching this, though it seems funny to me that people who know nothing about dance would even bother to put in their two cents :/ love the performance though :)

i liked it... and if people think its cheerleading its not... its call HIGH KICK . and POM... not all dances with poms are considerd cheerleading. seeing as they arent doing any STUNTS or TUMBLING.. its not cheerleading. and good luck to yall i like it

This is marvelous to watch! What a nice change of pace from typical HS "spirit squads" that do all the same-old acrobat flips, twirls, and tosses year-after-year. What Yorktown HS does here takes school spirit entertainment to a more mature level of dance choreography like the Radio City Rockettes. For being on a high school level, this is well done! Pay no mind to what LegionDude2 said, the girls here did well for high school, their moves are good!
