This video demonstrates several functionalites of the Virtual Robot Experimentation Platform (V-REP: http://www.v-rep.eu ). It performs kinematic calculation of an ABB delta-robot which has several closed or nested loops. A simple motion is applied to the 4 base joints of the robot and the manipulator position is tracked by a graph. The robot and its behaviour can be copied, also between several instances of the application.
The CAD model in this scene is courtesy of ABB Robotics. ABB Robotics has however no link of any kind with V-REP or this simulation.

  • hey does anyone know how to program the simulation for this? I'm using NX to build a motion simulation for a parallel robot at the moment, but I'm kinda stuck at how to sketch the path of the end effector trajectory.
