@spinradiofm I don't see how "Tell Me If You Still Care" was derivative since it was on the same "On the Rise" album as "Just Be Good to Me." BTW, "High Hopes" was the first Jam & Lewis song they did with The S.O.S. Band.
"For Your Love" was similar to "High Hopes" with the drum breakdown near the beginning and the same uptempo groove. But "High Hopes" still had that Leon Sylvers-type of influence. I'll agree that the extended version of "For Your Love" was overproduced.

Quality mix. Check out that 808!
Prefer the album version....which was still like 9 minutes long but without all the stupid sound effects!!!
