  • why do people who don't like covers torture us who do by going off AT LENGTH how 'No band in the world can even compare to the original...' The point of a cover is to show how much they love a song. not trying to be better. go fry a little more, i think you still have a couple brain cells still trying to work.

  • Cover or not "Welcome to the Machine" > "Welcome to the jungle"

  • They got some of the lyrics off.

  • @blacksunshine3452 Well I'm sorry that you have a blatant inability to comprehend what makes good music. What are you looking for in a cover? An exact copy? Good covers expand on a song and take it in a new direction which is exactly what Shadows Fall did here. Appreciate this song for what it is as opposed to looking for the original. If you're looking for that then just go listen to the original which is awesome for totally different reasons than this cover.

  • @Disturbed43216 no this killed the song.

  • Vocals are FLAWLESS. The guitar (while very nice) didn't feel like it belongs in the song (imho).

  • The problem with covering a song...

If you do a bad job, people hate you for it.

If you do a good job... Guess what. People still hate you for it.

But no matter what, this cover is fucking epic.

  • @blacksunshine3452 Anyone in their right mind would :)

  • I like it..

  • interesting?

  • @DannyWGiles hahahahaha

  • The problem with covering a song is that if you're not careful the artist tends to go off on a tangent and the song loses it's feel, hell this sometimes happens to the artist who created it. In this case the feeling has been kept. This song to me has always had an apocalyptic feel to it and this cover is no exception. Excellent job.
