  • had a 77 town coupe coach roof mint green 460 optional 3:00 gears & over size fuel tank sick car when your 25 years old i bought the car for 1400 cash best money i ever spent.

  • I have a 1978 Town Coupe also. 460 4bbl. same color (lt grn metallic) with a white top and white leather interior. I have a big tip for my fellow Lincoln Lovers and anybody else who owns cars manufactured prior to 1996 .... "COMP CAMS Street Rod and Muscle Car Engine Oil". This is the only oil I reccommend to anyone with hydraulic lifters ESPECIALLY older flat tappet (non-roller) cams. This engine oil will keep that "ticking" noise away (if your lifter haven't already failed)

  • @Rlotpir You are correct in that 1980 was the last year the Town Coupe option was available for the Lincoln Continental. In 1981, the Continental name was dropped from the full size Lincoln model, to then be called Town Car, regardless whether 2 or 4 door models. However, the 2 door model was available for 1981, which was the last year the 2 door coupe was available. The 2 door body style was discontinued for 1982.

  • @patsaxon There was no 1981 Town Coupe made.
