It is astonishing that an elephant could even be trained to paint in the 1st place..! ;) Yet the reality of people having the capacity to abuse animals, let alone for the purpose of painting a freaking picture enrages me..! Don't get me wrong, I'm not inferring you agree with it, in fact based on your response I would think you may have the same thought.

None of the elephants that they show being abused are the elephants at the Thai Elephant Conservation. Give me a break.

Even if they were trained (and tortured - which is awful) to do those incredible paintings... imagine what could they do with good stimulation. Perhaps, it would even show better results. It shows how incredibly an elephant can learn. And how precious they are. I'm impressed.
