In a recent interview with the House Armed Services Committee, former Australian army officer David Kilcullen, who served in Iraq as a top advisor to Gen. David Petraeus, told members of congress that the US drone attacks in Pakistan are backfiring. The unmanned "drone" airplanes take off from secret runways, seek out suspected terrorists and, with CIA employees at the remote controls, fire missiles to blow them up. But according to Kilcullen, the missile strikes are creating more enemies than they eliminate.
