Sadly, Patti Santos died in an auto accident on 12/14/89 near Geyserville on Highway 128 in California. She went much too soon, much too quickly. She is dearly missed by all of us.

When we recorded this in October of '05 we were told that there was going to be some sort of video copy produced to keep "in the archives", so to speak. Unfortunately, this is all we've been able to get our hands on. If we can 'locate' any more footage we'll certainly post it......glad you enjoy it!

I tried going on websites that look into profiles of famous people including musicians but sadly I could not find Patti Santos anywhere! What a shame. If she were around today, I'd think she would be ashamed as well! May God bless It's A Beautiful Day, and especially may God bless Patti Santos! She deserves to rest in heavenly peace.

Was so lucky to have seen It's A Beautiful Day in Daytona Beach, FL, at Peabody Auditorium, back in 1973 (I believe). Bloodrock opened the show. It is one of the best memories of my youth. Patti Santos was gorgeous and (jokingly) invited the whole audience to her hotel room. The place went mad! lol Was very sad to hear of her passing. God bless It's A Beautiful Day.

(on acid...lol).

and when they came on stage and started singing this song

the wind started to blow,

and it was like the music was riding on it...

truly a beautiful day!
