  • @mepossem That's a little unfair, don't you think? The British left principally because the pound depreciated markedly against the euro, making them 30% poorer. Your government caused this crisis by adopting a currency that is entirely unsuited to Spain's economic fundamentals. Had you kept your peseta, none of this tragedy would have ever occured.

  • I'm sure if all these people sold their private properties they may be able to raise enough money to purchase the property they want saved, then they can ensure that the property remains untouched. Someone must own the property and he should be entitled to do as he wishes with it. Since they obviously don't own the property, unless they are willing to purchase it they should shut up and mind their own business. Greenies are destroying private property rights, they need to wake up.

  • basically it's the english doing a runner and leaving debts, friends and even the family dog behind. other nationalities remain and continue working here. And continue building a future here.
