Allah urges war: "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and LET THEM FIND IN YOU HARDNESS; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil)," (QURAN 9:123).

Those verses you have just quoted, have been taken out of context.

I'd be happy to share some verses from the Bible that could EASILY be taken out of context and would appear to be in the same light you have understood the verse in question...

I want to point this out...if the Christians say that nonbelievers go to Hell, would that mean that most of the world would go to Hell? I think what God meant in the first Commandment was "believe no other god" and by that he means for everyone to believe THIER OWN god. Not a god from another religion. Commen sense is a terrible thing to forget how to use.
