  • No, it's not scary at all, but there has been times where the waves has been as high as the celladeck (the lowest deck) and swept away containers, but no people has been swept overboard.

    hehe, well these platforms is designed to be at the same spot for atleast 20 year+ to produce oil from the same oil reservoir

  • @taytohead Actually, if you made them any thicker, they would be more prone to destruction by waves, more cross sectional area.
