Your Host long time resident 12Yrs at Waterton Hall Farm, Wayne Dillion taking you on a tour inside of a old disused Catholic Girls School (Waterton Hall) was a accomodation for homeless young men getting back on track learning farming skills ETC. Ran by The St Vincent De Paul Scioety Launceston. Situated at Rowella on the West Tamar is now a private residence. (Filmed 6th March 1991)

  • Yes I was at the 'Waterton Hall Farm' in 1979 and if you played up you got a very thick peice 1cm thick belt around your arse from BP Ferral!! So you made SURE you behaved yourself or ELSE! The Jones boys got the strap too used on 20 year olds! That was the days of corporal punishment and if some of todays youth the way they play up, I defently think that they need to bring back corparal punishment! It would'nt hurt them in the least thats for sure, make the school teachers jobs a lot easier!
