WOW!!! These High School students blew my mind with their maturity, and their social consciousness. Keep the Struggle Alive!!!! You have my support!

Maybe if she taught a little less politics and a little more english, she could have kept her job.

Maybe she should apply for a job as a guidance counselor?

What happened at the protest?

I sympathize with their struggle, however, the trashy language takes away from the message. I do not doubt that these are competent, intelligent, socially aware students, and I understand their frustration. Read, read and read so can learn to better enunciate your demands. Students, you under huge scrutiny and you must be impeccable in order to succeed.

I didn't notice a lot of trashy language, apart from 3 or 4 swear words, but I felt that those helped to emphasize the point. The first young woman who spoke, especially, was pretty articulate.

Do you have a problem with William Shakespeare, J.D. Salinger, Tony Morrison, and Maya Angelou using "trashy language" to convey a message?

This is not church and frankly I don't care about your Christian Right views. This is a social problem created by administrators. If you read my message I did not use profanity so if you chose not to listen to me then move on child.
