Xbox 360 XBLA Power Up Forever

Just a video of me playing the Blitz Arcade developed and Namco / Bandai published game called Power Up Forever. Available for download on XBLA for the Xbox 360. I believe it costs 800 MS Points.

Is it worth it? Here's my mini-review. While it is pretty decent, there are some things that it has going against it. Mainly, it lacks any sort of multiplayer mode (which doesn't necessarily make it a non-purchase) to extend replayability and it just seems mindnumbingly boring. While the game is called Power Up Forever, it seems it should have been called Play the Same Level Forever...

I dunno, from what I played in the demo, it just doesn't feel like it's worth buying especially with other Shmups in XBLA like Geometry Wars 2 and Ikaruga to name a few.

But hey, I didn't buy the full game, so perhaps the unlockable bonus modes liven the game up or perhaps you need to play beyond what the demo offers to truly appreciate the game. If you want a proper review, just visit any Xbox 360 game site and they should have reviews for the full game. : )
