  • Thanks for the comments. I've recently tried new facet joint injections and they're working great! I still need pain medication sometimes and I deal with a lot of pain, especially at work, but things are definitely looking up. Thanks again for the comments and look for my new posts soon.

  • @sharilynanton I had the same issue with doctors until I turned 50. All of a sudden they were willing to listen. Not sure why. It was like all of a sudden I was at an age where they would believe me.

  • If people keep having trouble getting treatment for their pain, what a number of them will do is just get a diabetic's syringe, stick a few holes in their arms or legs, and then go purchase some illegal narcotic on the street and ingest it, and then immediately go to a methadone clinic and sign up as a patient and get methadone for the rest of their life. Not that this is right to do, but that is one way many pain patients will circumvent the system to get help with pain.

  • I have 2 herniated discs, 1 bulging, siatic nerve pain and muscles that never relax. I went to the doc today cause I finally got some insurance and he said its all in my head. Didnt even want to see my MRI. Told me he takes Aleve for his knees and does just fine. I walked out of there crying. Your so lucky you have help.

  • @upinflamezzz I'm sure that all of us chronic pain sufferers wish we could "suck it up" like you do. Unfortunately, most of us aren't as lucky as you seem to be. Instead of being a hater, maybe you could give some positve insight on how we can live better. Jackie is an admiration getting on here like this, and bringing chronic pain out in the open so we can all learn from each other and help each other through another day. To be such a man, you still have a lot of growing up to do.

  • @upinflamezzz I'm sure all of us with chronic pain wish we could be as tough as you and "suck it up" like you do; but unfortunately not all of us can be as lucky as you seem to be. You need to quit hating on people, and try to be more of a positive person. Jackie is an admiration, she is at least trying to help bring chronic pain out in the open and have a forum for us to help each other cope and learn from one another. To be such a man, you have a lot of growing up to do.

  • Be a man and suck it up like I do.

  • Glad the facet joint injections have helped so much. Hope that means you found a multidisciplinary pain management clinic which offers a wide range of treatment options. Hope your lack of posting in the last year means you're experiencing good pain management and getting on with your life.

  • Hi, my mom is on the pain med "Salma" She says she needs if for the pain in her leg. She doesn't want to get surgery cause she said she's a nurse and wouldn't be able to work for like 6 or 7 months. Is this pain med addicting and harmful?? She said shes not addicted to it when I ask her.

  • Do u still have a pain??
