The Norman Rockwell exhibit was showing at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh and Janet knew I couldn't resist seeing it. I love Norman Rockwell's painting and his wonderful portrayal of America in a simpler time.
The museum was incredible and we loved seeing the largest Rodin collection in the southeast as well as the Monet, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, and Renoir . We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful restaurant in the museum. A very cool, chic place called Iris,
However, the catalyst for this video came from shopping.
While shopping at Crabtree Mall, City Market and North Hills we came across a cakelet pan at Williams-Sonoma. We didn't know what a cakelet was but the little shapes, pine-cones and walnuts looked cool so we bought it, followed the recipe that was included and made the

The cake-lets are so cute and sound so yummy.
Thanks for the recipe and the well done vid showing what to do. I think we'll give them a try. Btw, I like your apron. ; )
Happy Holidays to y'all, too!
